Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Actions (ANAMA) completed mechanical demining operations in the territory of Turkish-Syrian border crossing terminal. The agency is recently conducting the outside quality inspections in the territory.
More than 70 anti-personnel and anti-tank mines have been found and deactivated in the 160 thousand square meters territory in Karkamish area of Turkey`s Gaziantep city since the operations began in August, 2011.
ANAMA`s BOZENA 4, light mechanical vehicle (resistant up to 9 kg TNT) was involved in demining operations.
