Robotic arm is an attachment compatible with BOZENA 4, BOZENA 5 and BOZENA RIOT. It has been designed for special tactical tasks related to IED and UXO manipulation/removal. Robotic arm can be used for digging and ground levelling works as well, by means of the bucket which can replace the grab. This feature does extend the utilization of the tool during installation/settling of field camps or whenever the trenches or demolition holes are to be prepared.
Control of the Robotic arm is absolutely safe as it is conducted remotely and assisted by a modular camera system. This shall consist of 1 (one) rotational/zoom/tilt videocamera and of additional 2 (two) static cameras as follows:
- 1st camera (rotational/zoom/tilt) located on Prime mover, meant to enable the operator to drive the machine to required object/location
- 2nd camera (static) located on the arm itself, meant for monitoring the arm action
- 3rd camera (static) located inside the manipulation grab, meant to ensure the sensitive and fine manipulation with IED/EOD objects
Quantity and configuration of videocameras is adjustable in accordance with Customer`s requirements. Videosignal is air-transmitted up to the distance of 1000 meters (or more).
