REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM

• capable of communication between transmitter and receiver within the range of 5 000 m for in-line-sight and 2 000 m for non in-line-sight visibility
• built of modular parts for easy field service action in case of need
• equipped with well-arranged display for easy monitoring of machine`s status and its vital indicators (temperatures/pressures of oils, quantity of fuel, flail/tiller RPM, messaging about failures, etc) in real time
• can be integrated into the remote control of video system for easy one-man manipulation
• comes with 12 built-in NiCD (replacable) battery sufficient for 11 hours of operation; with the charger and with the extra back-up 12 battery for external power supply connection
• can be substituted in case of its failure by a local control box. This module with the 3 m long cable is to be plugged into the Prime mover and used for recovering the machine from the field. It is provided to each Prime mover for free, as a part of Basic kit.

UNDERCARRIAGE

• uses the concept of two-side and independent track system for fluent traction in terrain
• moves on tyres (after quick removing the steel tracks) in areas where surface is not to be damaged such as stores, streets, air-planes.
• Special durable wheels are filled with synthetic foam (not air) to be resistant against fragments.
• Track tightening is self-acting, secured by pair of automatic tension pulleys on each side
• Internal parts of prime mover are easily accessible after lifting the massive engine compartment cover by utilizing the hydraulic manual pump.

ENGINE

• option of a 170 kW as standard version or 270 kW TATRA engine as version for more demanding working conditions (high altitude; extreme hilliness; hard surface; EURO-3 standard compliance)
• engines are air-cooled, as such a solution had proved to be more reliable in extreme climatic and dusty conditions and less demanding in terms of field service and maintenance
• TATRA engines have been used worldwide for decades as reliable power units for standard trucks, carriers of artillery weapons, rocket launchers, cranes, excavators, etc.

FEATURES

• RECOVERY WINCH: useful during emergency recovery needs and for assistance in unforeseen stuck-in-field situations. Hydraulic winch contains the 30 m long and Ø 10 mm wire rope and can be controlled locally or remotely
  
  
• 3-POINT HINGE: located at the rear part of Prime mover serves as a gate for utilizing further tools and appliances such as the magnetic collectors, ground penetration radars and ploughs. These attachments can be used for special tasks during de-mining operations according to the convenience and effectiveness.
  
  
• AUTOMATIC FIRE-EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM: comes with every Prime mover to protect its internal parts in case of fire, especially the receiver and wiring parts
  
  
• PALLET FORKS delivered with Prime mover to use it as a fork-lift machines. This secures that machine can load/offload its belongings at anytime and anywhere
  
  
• BASIC KIT: contains basic and special tools for basic maintenance and service needs as well as few basic spare parts for immediate and elementary replacements

FLAIL

• designed to destroy (activate and/or destruct) all conventional types of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines by 48 hammers fixed with chains to the rotary shaft
• built to resist the blast of 9 kg TNT or equivalent, proved to be fixed within 15 minutes after such an explosion by replacement of several chains and hammers
• insulates the Prime mover from the blast effects by an ARMOX shield accurately shaped
• capable to clear the vegetation of up to 35 cm in diameter (50 cm also achieved in several testings) and 4 m in height
• capable of clockwise and also counterclockwise rotation for self-cleaning purposes during operation in dense bushy environment or after barbed wire loading
• allows operator to monitor its speed (RPM) on the display of the transmitter
• equipped with the "floating mode" function which allows the flail to follow the surface pattern in both - the vertical and horizontal directions. This feature is needed for effective operation in dusty environment, where direct operator's visual control is not possible. With this ability, the clearance of landmines concealed in accidents of the terrain is secured.
• contains adjustable skids for modifying the depth of terrain penetration (up to 300 mm)

TILLER

• developed for mine clearance and vegetation removal purposes like Flail, but to be deployed in significantly hard-surface conditions.
• with its impressive performance and sufficient power, the tiller is capable of processing the ground of up to 350 mm below the surface.
• equipped with height-adjustable skids for choosing the depth of ground processing
• deals with roughness of uneven terrain by being capable of "floating" like the Flail and so the constant depth of ground penetration is secured
• withstands the blast of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines and the concept of its servicing is based on modular system of the rotating gasket - rotor (replacable parts which are anyhow mechanically repairable)
• round SHANK CHISELS are patented and high quality components which are used worldwide for many kinds of milling or mining machines. Chisel`s heads are reinforced for securing the longest possible lifetime. Anyhow, shank chisels are considered as a replacable parts and can easily be changed (spare chisels are included in the sets of spare parts)

TRANSPORT

• INLAND TRANSPORT: cruising speed of the machine up to 9 km/h for covering basic operational requirements (mostly shifts between worksites). Trailer or lowbed is required for transport on longer inland distances
  
  
• VESSEL TRANSPORT: standard sea containers will keep the machine with all its accessories; single 40ft container will store the whole BOZENA 5 system with basic belongings.
  
  
• AIR TRANSPORT: planes like C-130 or similar have already fixed several urgent delivery tasks without any limitations.
  
  
• LOADING: machine is capable of loading ALL its accessories by itself (by means of pallet forks) and to unload it anywhere in the same way, either from the container, aircraft or trailer.
